Under and over: Among a variety of obstacles on the course was an under and over element, which was negotiated successfully by Zoe Mangan and Milly Stafrace.
Nanneella Estate Primary School principal Tom Mangan had no hestitation in putting his “body on the line’’ at last week’s community colour run — volunteering to sit atop the dunk machine for the Friday evening event.

Along with Mr Mangan the school had reptile encounters, a lolly stall, face painting, slushies ad pizza on offer, supported by the Bendigo Community Bank in Rochester and the Campaspe Shire Council.
Also at the event was Landcare, allowing for a balanced information evening to the fun of the colour run obstacle course and the pizza that followed for the 12-strong school population.
Slushy weather: Nanneella turned on a warm evening for the fundraiser, which Harry and Myla Whipp took advantage of with their ice cool drinks.
Flower power: Annabella Bader, 6, was among a consistent flow of customers for face painter Kathy Fields, who was among several entertainment options for participants in the fundraising evening.
On target: Brett Gledhill and Connor Butterfield were among the volunteers who armed themselves with coloured water pistols to provide an extra challenge for those that completed the colour run obstacle course at the Nanneella Estate Primary School grounds.
School-work balance: Children from Nanneella’s primary school and playgroup, along with the wider community, attended the colour run fundraising event last week.
Caped crusaders: Nanneella’s Cooper Jenkins and Zach Froon took on dual roles at the colour run, stop and slow sign holders and super heroes. The obstacle course was a challenging environment for participants.
