It is believed that the vehicle was travelling along Campaspe Esplanade on the evening of July 3, when the animal jumped out and collided with the vehicle.
Leading Senior Constable Simon O’Toole of Echuca Police said the occupant of the vehicle — a young, female driver — was not injured during the incident.
“The vehicle has remained near the site of the collision as no-one has been available to tow it as of yet,” he said.

OUTBREAK HIGHLIGHTS FAILURES
The head of NSW peak agricultural body said the Varroa mite outbreak was a stark example of the failures in the national biosecurity system.
NSW Farmers Biosecurity chair Ian McColl said it was clear biosecurity screening protocols at our borders were clearly not at the standard required, and it was time for the Federal Government to urgently fix the system before it was too late.
“We have been warning Australia is highly exposed to biosecurity incursions and we’re seeing that play out right now,” Mr McColl said.
“It is clear that there are gaps in the system, because varroa mite reached our shores and evaded detection.
“Good luck — not good management — seems to be the only thing keeping biosecurity threats out of Australia.”
TREES DOWN ON ECHUCA’S HIGH ST
Community members may have noticed that a number of trees have been removed from along the west side of High St, in front of the 208 Primary School.
Campaspe Shire’s general manager of works Daniel Basham said council workers had been removing the trees so they could make upgrades to the kerb, channel and construct a new all abilities access ramp for the bus stop area.
“Trees are currently being removed in preparation for the works, with plans for new trees to be planted in the space once the ramp is completed,” Mr Basham said.
