LOCKINGTON pool’s successful fundraiser on Friday raised $697.50 for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

Local resident Kylie Floyd said more than 80 people enjoyed the evening, with 100 per cent of proceeds from sales of Ciurleo’s ice creams and Giddings and Co pizza supporting the cause.

“A huge thank you goes to our two local businesses for their generosity, as well as the committee for its hard work putting it together,” she said.

The inflatables were given a work out in the pool and Sally the lifeguard rallied together some teams for noodle races with the winners receiving an ice cream.
