With the club having closed in March, volunteers and members have been working hard to get the grounds looking their best.
“Thanks to the work of a number of hardworking individuals, the greens are looking great,” Campaspe Golf Club president Rod McAsey said.
“We can't thank them enough for all their hard work.”
The team has managed to mow the grass, cut and clean up trees and so much more.
While the venue is known for its well-maintained golf course, there's more to it than meets the eye.
“While people haven't been able to have a hit, we've had a lot of people using the walking track every day,” Mr McAsey said.
The club has placed a log book along the track for people to sign and let the club know what they're up to.
“After a few months we've had pages of signatures,” Mr McAsey said.
“From nurses going for a walk or people just wanting to take their kids, grandkids or even dogs for a walk, the track gets plenty of use.”
There is also a clubhouse almost ready for parties.
From a family gathering to a 21st or 50th birthday, the club can cater for your needs as long as restrictions and guidelines are followed.
“We have great facilities here and we would love to see even more people use them,” Mr McAsey said.
While the volunteers have done a great job to keep everything neat and tidy, they wouldn't say no to a few extra hands.
“If anyone would like to come down and give us a hand, we would be really grateful,” Mr McAsey said.
They wouldn't mind seeing some fresh faces coming out for a round or two either.
“No matter your age or skill set, there's always room for anyone who wants to give golf a go,” Mr McAsey said.
