This sweet young lady is a one-year-old domestic short hair who would give anything to laze about on something soft and comfy.
She has a lot of love to give and would enjoy showing her new humans as much affection as they can handle.
Hazel has spent the past few months in foster care looking after her three babies, but this mumma is looking for a home of her own now her kittens have gone out on their own.
Due to her light colouration, she is prone to skin cancer and needs to go home with an owner who has a sun-smart lifestyle.
She will need to be kept indoors or in the shade during the summer months and have pet-safe sunscreen applied to her nose and ears regularly.
It is also recommended Hazel gets six-monthly check-ups on her skin with a vet to ensure any signs of skin cancer are caught and treated.
She has also had cat flu.
Although the condition usually resolves without complications, in some instances the cat may remain a carrier and the disease may recur in the future.
Hazel also has a low grade heart murmur, but that won't stop her from loving you.
Being low grade, this means it is a very minor condition and does not require medication or is not affecting her in any way.
To meet Hazel, visit campaspe.vic.gov.au or phone 5480 3005.
You will need to contact the shelter and make an appointment before visiting.
