Police seeking information on stolen cars

POLICE are appealing for information into two car thefts at Rochester which have occurred in recent weeks.

A 2015 Toyota Landcruiser was stolen between 4pm on June 25 and 11.30am on June 26 from a Northern Highway rest stop after it had broken down.

In a separate incident, a 2015 Toyota Hilux was taken from a rural farming property on July 4 at 4:22am.

It is believed were at the scene, with one of those described as of solid build, wearing dark hoodie with yellow motif, dark pants and white shoes.

The vehicle had a red toolbox on board at the time.

Three firearms were also stolen from the business.

Investigators have released an image of a person who may be able to assist with enquiries.
