The Towards 2030 Forum in Shepparton on Monday, August 16 has been cancelled.
The forum, to be hosted by the National Farmers’ Federation and the VFF, was to feature speakers including Victorian Agriculture Minister Mary-Anne Thomas, Telstra's Head of Rural & Regional Affairs Ben Gursansky, Kagome chief executive Jason Fritsch, VFF president Emma Germano, NFF president Fiona Simson and NFF chief executive officer Tony Maher.
Organisers said the forum would be postponed until further notice due to the changing COVID-19 restrictions.
Dairy conference cancelled
The Australian Dairy Conference scheduled for February 2022 in Hobart has been cancelled.
ADC president Ben Geard said the decision was a hard one but the board deemed the outcome to be the most responsible course of action given the ongoing uncertainty due to the COVID-19 situation.
“The board looks forward to delivering an event when it is safe and appropriate,” he said.
“We know many ADC regulars will be disappointed but it means we will all be even more eager to get together when we have the best opportunity to do so.”
