Today's matches are headlined by the battle between fifth-placed Mulwala and Cobram (sixth) at Lonsdale Reserve.
In a year that's brought plenty of surprise results — most noticeably last weekend — this final round is sure to add to the theatre of an already five-star season.
Mulwala enters today's match with a potential top-four spot on the line while the Tigers can dislodge the Lions from fifth.
However, the Tigers are most likely to front up against Mulwala in the first week of finals regardless if they clinch a victory today.
Cobram mentor Josh Noonan said his side would welcome back multiple players from injuries, as the Tigers look to end their two-game losing streak.
"We've got a couple coming back in this week which will be great for us," Noonan said.
"We've been impacted by injuries and inconsistency this year.
"It should be good to get some stability back in before finals."
Headlining the Tigers' ins are tough inside midfielder Sam Gemmill and key position player Matt Demaio, while Andrew and Dylan Ryan come back into the side along with Sam Beasley.
"Sam (Gemmill) is a real in-and-under player," Noonan said.
"He gets first-use and feeds it out to those on the outside.
"He'll help bolster our midfield unit.
"Because we know Mulwala has a great midfield unit, hopefully we can nullify their input."
Mulwala enters today's match on the back of a 32-point loss to Numurkah, which ended its three-game winning run.
But the Lions will be confident after they defeated Cobram in round nine by 16 points.
Despite the Tigers having lost their past two matches, Noonan said his side had stuck to tidying up its disposal of the ball.
"We've just been working more on our skills and decision making," he said.
"The effort has been there, but it's just more cleaning up our disposal.
"There's no need to reinvent the wheel with finals just around the corner."
Across the league, ladder leader Nathalia will be wary of surprise packet Tongala (fourth) today when they meet at the Purples' home ground.
The Blues defeated Echuca United (second) last weekend by 80 points, sending shockwaves throughout the competition.
It's a battle between second and third when United welcomes Numurkah.
The close battles continue when Katandra (13th) and Moama (14th) square-off at the home of the Kats.
Finley (ninth) will be hopeful it can breeze past Rumbalara (12th) at Mercury Dve today to enter the top-eight and Congupna (seventh) takes on Barooga (10th) and eighth-placed Tungamah will be desperate to hold on to its finals spot when the Deniliquin Rams (11th) arrive.
