Chasing 171, the Bloods were 2-23 at stumps last weekend and cannot afford many more slip-ups if they are to track down the competitive total.
Mitch McGrath (five) and Michael Mandaradoni (three) were the batsmen dismissed, leaving Nathan Laffy (two not out) and Luke Forge (nine not out) with plenty of pressure on them.
But while the total remains gettable, it could have been far better for the Bloods, at one stage having had the Magpies on the ropes at 9-116.
Karramomus skipper Stuart Turner remained confident his boys could get the job done.
“You always go in confident, but it was a bit disappointing to concede 170 after having them 9-110 or something,” he said.
“We didn't take a couple of chances and we should have been chasing less, but we're looking forward now and hoping a couple of our guys can bat deep.”
The Bloods have been solid with the bat this season and batted out their 45 overs four times, but their most recent dig was a disaster, rolled for 84 against Shepparton United.
“Apart from last innings we've looked pretty stable, and I think the two-day format suits us,” Turner said.
“There's no need to rush and if we can bat the day out, there's no doubt we will win it.”
With top scorer for the season Chris Crouch (111 at 22.2) not picked for the game, Forge looms as the game-breaker, his 105 runs at 52.5 this season including an unbeaten 71 against Tatura.
For Euroa, Lucas Paul leads the wicket-taking with seven at 19.1, but the form of Mahesh Priyadarshana (six at 18.3) will be crucial, having taken 3-34 to help the side roll Northerners last round.
