After falling be just one point in the semi-final to the Mallee Tigers in 2018, the Turtles are determined to add to their three division one premierships.
Just weeks ago, many of the players who will pull on the Turtles jumper were playing for rival clubs in rival leagues.
But the opportunity to play together is something they couldn't resist according to team manager Damian Morgan-Bulled, who is also a previous coach of the side.
“The VACSAL carnival is a wonderful opportunity for our boys,” he said.
“It's great that we get guys from all different competitions to come together to play footy, it creates a great standard to watch.
“We're determined to win the competition because it does take a lot of hard work. There is every opportunity we could end up playing up to seven games (of two 15-minute halves) across two days.
“Everyone is looking forward to another exciting carnival.”
The weekend's carnival will mark the 30th edition of the competition, the first of which took place at Mooroopna in 1989.
Warma is also set to enter three teams in the netball competition across division two, three and four.
