Six teams from the GMC's usual competition structure will be joined by Leitchville-Gunbower from the Northern District Cricket Association, who have won the last two tournaments.
Each team will play two games across three weeks, with the top four teams then progressing to a finals series which will be played at a yet to be determined venue on Sunday, December 8.
GMC president Jason Turner said the competition was one clubs looked forward to every year since its inception.
“T20 cricket has always been seen as more of a fun game,” he said.
“It's very different to the type of cricket you see played on a Saturday because players are made to think in a different way.
“The competition has improved every year and we're expecting to see that happen again.”
Under the rules of the competition, each side is permitted to field three imports from outside of the GMC with some taking up the opportunity.
Bamawm-Lockington United has recruited arguably the biggest name with former Victorian pace bowler Jayde Herrick set to pull on the club's colours.
Meanwhile, Moama has elected to look within the Goulburn Valley securing Saran Kalsi and Riley Gow from Barooga alongside Tatura's Michael Archer.
And Turner said allowing imports to play for GMC clubs was positive for the competition.
“Playing against quality players is only going to make our guys better,” he said.
“But it's also important from a social point of view because you might find more people are interested in going down to have a look.”
Echuca are still yet to confirm their imports, while Echuca South will field players from within the four walls of the club.
