The club had another great week with 19 members turning up to play.
The courts are in very good condition.
Our members played one game of kingball, singles and doubles.
All games were played in good spirits with plenty of laughs.
After all games were played our members then had our end of month lunch.
What a good way to finish the day’s play off with our special lunch supplied by the club.
Our winners for Monday were the three J’s — Jan Tracy, Jenny Van Der Zande and Jill Graham.
Jan won her three games with a net hoop score of +20.
Jenny and Jill had a two game win with both tying on a net hoop score of +9.
Jump shots were won by Peter Van Der Zande and John Graham with two, although Trevor Peters out did them all with four.
Last Thursday saw 15 members from Echuca-Moama travel to Mooroopna to play in the twilight social evening. Club member Mavis Peters who had a play-off against Bernice from Euroa.
They had to play nearest to the middle peg.
Mavis then came out the winner with a three game win.
Then to top the night off Trevor Peters won the lucky door prize and won the pot plant.
It’s great to see so many of our members supporting other clubs.
We will be having a very busy month in March as there are quite a few social days coming up.
Good luck to all who are playing.
Echuca Moama are always looking for new people who would like to learn to play croquet.
We welcome anyone so come on down to tennis and croquet courts at Victoria Park.
Our playing days are Monday and Friday at 9am for a 9.30 start — there are free lessons available.
