Echuca ended their local rivals hopes of five straight premierships with an 11 set, 96 games to two sets, 56 game victory.
And Echuca captain Todd Charnas couldn't have been prouder of his side's performance.
“It was a very even performance across the board,” Charnas said.
“Our team had a lot of new players to start the season and we gelled very well. I think we had a great balance.
“Rich River have had a great run in the past few years and they deserve credit for how well they've played again this season.”
“We're very happy that we were actually able to finish off the season with everything that is going on in the world.”
Echuca were able to hit the ground running in the contest, winning the first three sets of the match.
While it was a good stepping stone, the convincing margins in two of those matches was the key according to Charnas.
“We certainly gained a lot of confidence from the way we started,” Charnas said.
“When you see your teammates playing well, it certainly relaxes you before you go out on court.
“Our start certainly put us in control for the rest of the game I thought.”
Rich River won their two sets throughout the afternoon during doubles matches as Lawn claimed both singles rubbers.
Echuca's Brian Gledhill and Stephen Hope were too good for their opponents, winning their matches 6-4 and 6-3 respectively.
In the competition's other senior grand final, Colbinabbin (8-67) defeated Rochester (5-50).
Meanwhile, Rochester were too good for Rich River in the A junior section, Colbinabbin won B juniors and Elmore 4 defeated Elmore 3 in C junior.
