With cold mornings and sunny days, Rich River Croquet Club members are enjoying their time on the courts, albeit in smaller groups.
On Thursday morning of last week, 10 members played golf croquet singles.
Two players won all three of their games.
James Gunn had a nett hoop score of +9 and Anne Dodd had +7 hoops.
Maree Maher and Fiona Larcombe scored hoops in one.
With nine players in the afternoon, there were three who won all three games.
Russ Smyth had a nett hoop score of +13.
Cherie Lessing and Kaye Joyce tied on +1, with Cherie coming through on a countback.
Pam Kane scored a hoop in one.
On Tuesday morning this week, 10 GC players competed in doubles and a single.
Four players won two games out of three, with Ian Grant on a nett hoop score of +6, Helen Brierley in second spot on a countback from Kaye Joyce and Maree Maher, each with +2.
In the afternoon, eight members played doubles with only one three-game winner — Ruth Mole with a nett hoop score of +11.
Eight people enjoyed association croquet on Wednesday.
