The NSW members of Rich River Croquet Club are enjoying their games of croquet while Victorian members are waiting patiently for normal life to resume after restrictions.
The cold weather last Thursday may have deterred members from playing golf croquet, as there were only eight playing singles.
Ian Grant was the only three game winner and he had a nett hoop score of +11.
Three others won two games: John Kenley who had a nett hoop score of +5, James Gunn had +1 and Fiona Larcombe had -2.
On Tuesday morning 11 members attended golf croquet, playing doubles.
Only two players won all three of their games.
Ian Grant was the winner with a nett hoop score of +13, while James Gunn came home with a +9.
Ruth Mole scored a hoop in one.
The Goulburn Valley Croquet Association has advised that the 2020 golf croquet pennant season has been cancelled due to uncertainty regarding the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions.
While very disappointed, members agree it was the right call and all now look forward to the 2021 season.
