GV Veterans
There will be no more events in the 2020 calendar year for the Goulburn Valley Veteran Golfers Association.
Our syllabus was suspended in March 2020, but after several reviews it has become obvious to the committee that there was no prospect of competition resuming under our program in 2020.
We managed only four meetings of the planned 18 gatherings.
We have prepared a program for 2021 that, hopefully, will commence at Parklands Golf Club on January 18, 2021 with a 4BBB event and 8.30am assembly.
Ironically our last event was the rescheduled event at Parklands.
The annual general meeting will be held at the conclusion of play and we invite you to consider nominating for a position on the committee.
Nominations may be submitted on the day of the meeting.
All our usual host clubs have committed to working with us in 2021 and we thank them for their continuing support.
It is now up to the whole community to make it safe to conduct large social gatherings.
As golfers we are thankful that we can enjoy a regular round of golf at our local clubs as a permitted exercise regime and we encourage you to support them and abide by all the advice to keep you safe.
