Echuca Moama Little Athletics Centre is ready to get off and running in 2020-21.
The club has confirmed it will start the new season on Saturday, October 17 after weeks of uncertainity.
President Stuart Addicott said it was a great opportunity to be one of the first sporting clubs to resume.
“We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back together,” he said.
“It’s exciting to have community sport back on both sides of the river. It means we’re back to operating as one community, not two.
“Hopefully this is the start of an exciting season for all clubs in town.”
Before the season gets underway, EMLAC will hold a come and try day for new members only.
Addicott said the day would start at 8.45am.
“There will be strict COVID-19 regulations in place, and we will be following these closely,” he said.
“All children must be accompanied by just one adult and other spectators are not allowed.
“We will be looking for parent helpers so please don’t be afraid to put your hand up.”
Parents are asked to keep an eye on EMLAC’s Facebook page for more details about the event.
Details regarding registration for past and new members will also be posted there.
