Rich River
Easter 2021 has come and gone for another year and over that weekend many clubs had some of their annual tournaments with bowlers enjoying lovely warm weather conditions.
There are still many local and regional opportunities to play tournament bowls, particularly during April, May and June, with clubs still recovering from the 2020/21 pandemic.
We encourage our club members who are able to support our neighbours and play in their competitions and assist them in this regard.
The CVBD 2021 Women's Country Bowls Carnival is being held from Sunday, April 19 through until Friday, April 23 and our Rich River Club will be jointly hosting the Women's Fours events with Echuca and Moama Bowling Clubs on Monday, April 19. All games start at 8.30am.
On Tuesday, April 20 bowling clubs at Elmore, Mathoura, Deniliquin, Deniliquin RSL, Lockington, Rochester, Tongala and Ky Valley will also be hosting events.

Our club championship games are in their concluding stages and finals for all events should be completed within the next week in time for our presentation night to be held on May 2 at 6.30pm in the Tatiala at Rich River Golf Club.
Those planning to attend need to place their names on the registration form which is on the display board outside the bowls office. This is required for catering purposes.
A reminder that the Annual General Meeting, for which office bearer nominations have now closed, is being held on Thursday, April 22 starting at 2.30pm in the upstairs room at the golf club.

Clubs represented included City of Echuca, Cohuna Golf, Gunbower, Lake Boga, Lockington, Mathoura, Moama, Rich River, Rochester, Stanhope and Tongala.
Lockington club president Ray Hanson welcomed all bowlers and trusted they would enjoy the greens.

After the four games of 10 ends there were only two rinks undefeated to contest a play-off over five live ends.
