Several optimistic players fronted up to play but unfortunately were only able to get one game in before play was abandoned due to rain.
Tuesday, August 16:
Rich River saw 19 players take on kingball. This is a combination game with elements of both association croquet and golf croquet. It is still to win some players over.
Nearly all had at least one win. Our runner-up was Russell Smyth on two wins and 13 hoops while the winner for the day was Helen Brierley on two wins and a tie on 17 hoops. Ruth Mole scored three hoops-in-one and Jay Grant scored one.
Over the past two years, we have had several members showing an interest in association croquet which is played Wednesday and Saturday, 9.30am for a 10am start. For more information contact Marjorie on 0459 030 338.
Don't forget next Tuesday, August 23 is our charity day. Proceeds of the day will go to the Echuca Neighbourhood House Food Bank. Any donations of packaged or canned food or toiletries can be brought to the club.
