The Magpies are flying high amid their impressive winning streak, which includes wins over fellow top-six sides Tongala and Mulwala in the last two rounds.
Moama will now face a Numurkah side that is returning to A-grade action this season after not fielding an A-grade side in 2021.
The Blues have found the going tough so far in 2022.
They are yet to win a game this season and sit at the foot of the Murray League ladder.
Magpies coach Lisa Drysdale said the game would be a good chance for her side to work on its game plan ahead of a clash against Rumbalara the week after.
“We are going to take the opportunity to regroup after having a few girls away,” Drysdale said.
“We’ll work through some more rotations, fine tuning our structures and bringing consistency all the way down the court will be the goal.”
The Magpies will be without Liv Mackenzie on Saturday, but will otherwise be at full strength, with youngster Sienne Agg set to again feature in the A-grade side.
“We’ll welcome Sienna Agg back who debuted for us last week and did a wonderful job,” Drysdale said.
Drysdale said her side was in great shape after some strong hit outs on the training track.
“We’re feeling amazing. We trained really well last week and we had a very hard training run on Tuesday night so we’ve got our legs ready to go for this weekend,” she said.
Nearing the half-way point of the season, the 5-2 Magpies sit in fifth spot on the ladder, two games behind first-placed Deniliquin and one win behind Rumbalara and Nathalia in second and third.
Drysdale said she thought her side was better than what the ladder suggests.
“We’re playing better than where we are positioned on the ladder,” she said.
“With new combinations across the court we are still building as a team.
“We’ll see if the tables will turn throughout the year in that top six at all, it will be interesting to see how those other teams go.”
