Kemp earns team of the year honour

By Andrew Johnston

ECHUCA footballer Brodie Kemp has added another major achievement to his growing list of achievements with his selection at full forward in the NAB League's team of the year.

Kemp, who is currently recovering from surgery after rupturing his ACL while playing school football, was the sole Bendigo Pioneer named in the side despite lining up in just three matches in the nationwide under 18 competition.

Kemp was earlier in the season selected at full forward in the under 18 All Australian side after a dominant showing at the under 18 national carnival.

Kemp has been predicted as a likely first round draft pick, possibly in the top 10 despite his injury.

The AFL draft will be held in November.
