There are too many to list but a few needs special mention: Robert Lorey (our Lord Mayor) and Scott and Andy Jaques - thank you – the six Morris Medal votes should be shared between you from the Easter round.
Last weekend we congratulated Xavier Leslie on 300 1st XVIII games, Bridget Cassar (Tait) 300 Club matches and Anna Grinter (Bourke) 200 A Grade Games.
And like the trio listed above, you would be hard-pressed to find a more loyal hard-working set of Pigeons. Well done guys!
At the other end of the career spectrum, Jett Smith and Will Sexton made their senior debuts and it was a real highlight to see a little Sexton to Sexton action with brother Jack wearing his Dad’s old no. 5.
This week we again head up the river for a twilight match, this time to take on the Bulldogs.
Our netball teams have started the season well, but our football teams are desperate to grab a win. We look forward to the challenge of taking on the Bulldogs.
Next week is our first proper “home game” and to celebrate we are again hosting the annual Day on the Green.
Be sure to get in and get your tickets.
Further, memberships are still available at Hargraves, 16 Orr Street.
