Yarrawonga Mulwala Adult Riding Club (YMARC) recently hosted over 25 riders in its first clinic with renowned Show Jumping instructor Alan Mitchell on July 20 and 21.
The clinic catered for a wide variety of riders from beginners to advanced who were all coached under the expert guidance of Alan.
Clinic organiser Jemma Holyard said “It was a great weekend for riders from near and far to learn new skills and improve their confidence jumping.
“Thank you to the riders and volunteers who attended over the weekend, we have received some great feedback and hope to run another clinic next year.”
The clinic was made possible by the dedication of YMARC members who have fundraised and received grants for the purchase of new Show Jumping equipment.
Grants were also obtained for both permanent shade seating and portable shade which has improved the useability of the grounds.
YMARC would like to thank the following grant providers; Moira Shire and the Department of Health and Human Services - Community Shade and Sporting Club Equipment grants.
YMARC is an active club which meets on the fourth Sunday of each month and hosts a variety of events including shows, SJ, dressage and trail riding.
