Margins of six, 10 and 15 games were all that separated teams in the GM1 competition in round 11, with Shepparton outfits the Hornets and Lakers playing out the tightest clash.
Nick Gattuso, Matt Carroll and D'Arcy Curtis-McDonald were involved in set wins for the Hornets, but it was not enough to overcome their rivals in the 6-69 to 4-63 result.
Sam McKenzie-McHarg, Katie Ferguson, Luke Dixon and Katelyn Durling led the way for the Lakers across the match.
Shepparton Bulls also tasted victory in a 6-62 to 4-52 performance against Echuca-Rochester, as did Numurkah Warriors in a 7-63 to 3-48 triumph over Rich River Rebels.

Trent Doyle, Anna Reynolds, Esma Corbic, Tanner Hunter, Nathan Mitchell and Viv New dominated Yarrawonga in a 10-75 to 1-41 drubbing, with Josh Buerkner finding the only joy for the home side.
Numurkah Raiders, Shepparton Saints and Kialla Park fans also had plenty to celebrate after the squads snared victories of their own at the weekend.

Kyabram Bombers and Redbacks — as well as Kialla Park — were also among the winners in the grade.

David Kerr was undefeated across three rubbers for the victors in the 7-73 to 6-68 result to spearhead the triumph.
Tatura Monaros and Rochester also claimed victories at the weekend.
