Echuca Moama Community Projects successfully hosted its 11th Community Christmas Lunch at the Uniting Church Hall on Christmas Day for people who would otherwise have been on their own.

A total of 77 people attended the day to share a meal, conversation and have some fun.
Lucky door giveaways, with gifts thoughtfully donated by many local businesses and individuals, were part of the festivities.
A two-course traditional lunch consisting of ham, turkey and beef (thanks to Echuca Smallgoods) and fantastic roast veggies (thanks to the Echuca Workers Club) was followed by pavlova and puddings with all the trimmings.

A visit from Santa saw the kiddies receive a present, and all adults took home a hamper of goodies donated by the community.
“There were so many local individuals, businesses, schools and organisations that contributed in some way to ensure this event continues to grow, continues to seek those most vulnerable and alone in our community and continues to show that Echuca Moama cares and that we can achieve anything,” Echuca Moama Community Projects spokesperson Julie Sands said.
