Although the Benalla Table Tennis Club’s playing schedule was disrupted by COVID-19, it did manage to complete the 2021 summer pennant competition between lockdowns.

The summer pennant attracted 48 players over 14 weeks.

Last Wednesday night the club held its annual presentation dinner at the Benalla Golf Club.
Winners and runners-up, together with the leading players from each grade, came together to collect their trophies and be acknowledged for their performances.

The 2022 season starts on February 22, with most players eager for a full year of competition.
Practice sessions will be held at the Benalla Indoor Recreation Centre on Tuesdays, January 18 and 25, from 7pm.
Entries for the Summer Pennant A, B and C-grades are coming in fast and any prospective players should phone Brian Perry on 5762 2373 early in January to be sure of a place in a team.
