Conditions were windy for the stroke event but there were many fine scores.
Les Thomas had the score of the day to take B-grade with the consistent John Clohosey edging out the reigning B-grade club champion Bill Bayles for the major A-grade prize.
Youngster Solomon Welch won this week after grandad Joe Burton won last week.
Max Prendergast and Stew Mancer were on fire on the par threes but could not keep Ross Bulley from winning the super-pin.

All the B-grade place-getters could have won the Privilege Cup with Murray Roberts edging out Jim Patton and James Brown.
Peter Hilet won a countback over Pete Sargentson and Peter Domotor winning C-grade.
Bob Young hit one close on 16 West to take home a big super-pin prize.

Pam Heywood had one of the scores of the year after daughter Kacey won last Saturday.
Lisa Woolcock edged out pennant green team captain Sue Jenkinson for second place.
Deb Bawden has won the last two Saturday nearest-the-pins and went one better this week, taking out the super-pin.

Peter Sargentson had the better back nine to win A-grade on a countback to Jim Patton, both with 38 stableford points.
Chris Horman made up the top three with 37.
In B-grade, Nick Ritchie came in at number one with 43 points and another countback decided the placings in C-grade, Lisa Woolcock just taking top spot with 41 on a countback to Robyn Holmes.

Monday, February 6:
Nine holes: Chris Kelly starred with 26 stableford points to take the win in A-grade by six points from Diane Watson in second with 20.
Trish Williams was third with 18.
In B-grade, Shirlie Jackson took the honour with 19 points with Lyn Newton second on 17 and Cheryl Watson third with 16 points. Alison Kable was nearest-the-pin.
18-hole medley: Axel Childs won this week's medley stableford round on the east course with 39 stableford points, with Cooper Gentle eagling the 12th and taking second spot on 38.
Lisa Woolcock, visiting from Heidelberg, followed up her Sunday win, coming in third with 36. Nearest-the-pin was Denis Linehan.
Tuesday, February 7:
All the C-grade place-getters had more than 40 points with Mitchell Pitt eight shots better than his handicap.
Visitor from Tocumwal Paul Gemmill won A-grade and it was nice to see Glenn Ogden in the winners’ stall after some injuries over the past couple of years.
Garry Jones took out the super-pin.

Wednesday, February 8:
Wednesday was the official opening of the 2023 golfing season and 118 women took to the west course in ideal golfing conditions, enjoying a two-course lunch at Tatalia.
New member Anna McKindlay certainly got her season off to a good start by scoring 44 stableford points to have the win in C-grade by eight points to Dianne Byrne in second with 36.
Jenny Todd, returning after illness, was in third spot with 35.
A three-way countback decided the A-grade placings, with Josie Kirkman, Nola Bennett and Maree Ciavarella all on 36 points. Liz Connick had 39 to win B-grade and Liz Easther had a very lucrative day, winning the super-pin.

Summer 4Ball Pennant
The Rich River green team played out an exciting draw with Deniliquin in the first round of the competition.
Stojko Kresojevic and newcomer Heath Redwood had a big win and Guy Galvin and Geoff Burke were also convincing winners.
The blue team were beaten 4½ matches to 2½ matches, Scott and Stephen Slater destroying their opposition with a six and five win.
Dave Cockroft and Ken Lambert had a big win as well.
Interclub Challenge
The Rich River girls hit off their 2023 season by squaring the match with Murray Downs at Deniliquin on Monday.
Their next match will be at Barham against Deniliquin, who are coming off a 3/2 win over Barham this week.
