Champions of the Murray
The teams of Lawrie West paired with Robert Vick and Craig Bessell alongside Chris Jennings represented Rich River in the Champions of the Murray held at Cobram Barooga Golf Club.
Lawrie and Robert prepared like a team of champions with a restful Friday night and finished with a respectful score in the middle of the field.
Chris drove Craig around for the first nine holes after he woke up with a sore tummy and couldn’t eat breakfast.
Craig bounced back to score some critical points for the team, but they would eventually finish as runners-up.
All teams were appreciative of the great experience and all golfers would be mad not to enter for the qualifying round next year.
