Echuca’s Stalker overcame a ‘did not finish’ in the Jai Welch Memorial Top 40 Dash to claim victory in the Unlimited Inboard Expert, winning in a time of 28.48.68.
Echuca’s Elm St F2 claimed a strong win in the Under 12 Girls Expert class, with skiers Charlette Davison and Ruby Carne completing their two legs of the river in 54.30.55 to claim victory against Smoken Mirrors Racing by more than two seconds.
Behind the main Elm Street boat, skiers Kody Davison and Cooper McAuley finished third in the Under 16 Boys Expert category, having finished in 24th place in the dash on the opening day.
Echuca team Doindough was the highest placed local boat in the dash, finishing 13th.
Moama’s Brute Force finished the dash in 21st, while Echuca’s River Wrecka finished in 31st.
Moama’s Sportspage joined Stalker in not completing the dash.
Doindough would be a did not finish in the Unlimited Inboard Expert, while Brute Force would finish fourth in the Sportsman’s 95mph class in 35.22.73.
Following their did not finish in the dash, Sportspage was scratched from the 8 Litre Inboard Expert.
