Three taken to hospital after Nathalia crash

Two people were flown to a Melbourne hospital and another taken by ambulance to hospital in Shepparton after a crash at Nathalia on Tuesday, June 6.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Murray Valley Hwy and Katamatite-Nathalia Rd/Dillons Lane about 5.50pm after reports of a collision between a four-wheel drive and a sedan.

Police said the four-wheel drive was travelling west on Katamatite-Nathalia Rd when it and the car, which was travelling south on the Murray Valley Hwy, collided.

A man, 66, who was in the car, was flown to The Alfred hospital in Melbourne by air ambulance with upper body injuries in a stable condition.

A woman, 56, in the same vehicle was also flown to The Alfred hospital with upper and lower body injuries in a serious condition.

Another man, believed to be in his 40s, was taken by road ambulance to Goulburn Valley Health with upper body pain in a stable condition.

The investigation into the collision continues.
