Game 1 — Rockets 1.0.6 lt. Bendigo 3.3.21
Bendigo was quick out of the blocks for the opening match of the day.
The Suns booted 3.3 in the first half, while the Rockets were unable to get on the board.
But the Rockets defence was able to improve greatly, holding the Suns scoreless.
The second half also saw Brent Thomas break through for the side’s opening goal of the game.
In the end the Rockets fell by 15 points.

Game 2 — Rockets 0.1.1 lt. Wodonga 2.0.12
The Rockets were in control through the majority of the opening half of play.
Moving the ball well, they held the Jets scoreless, but were only able to register the one behind.
In the second half the Jets were able to find their mojo, kicking two goals to run out with an 11 point win.

Game 3 — Rockets 1.2.8 lt. GV Stars 2.6.18
The opening half led to some hotly contested football.
The Stars were able to take the lead, kicking 1.2 for the half, but it was a substitute player from the opposition who broke through and got their new team on the board, with the Rockets trailing by just one point at the break.
The Rockets would only score their sole behind in the second half, while an inaccurate Suns side managed 1.4 to run away with a ten point win.

Game 4 — Rockets 2.0.12 lt. Wangaratta Merriwa 5.7.37
The Magpies were dominant in the opening half of the game, but were wayward in front of goals kicking 3.4.
For the Rockets, it was by no means a quiet half, with a subbed in player breaking through to get the Rockets on the board.
The Magpies were again strong in the second, adding 2.3 to their score.
But it was a goal from Tahlia Loudan which was the highlight of the match for the Rockets, despite a 25 point loss.
