The Griffiths brothers, Lenny and George, are set to represent the state, having been picked in the Victorian squad to race at the 2023 AusCycling Junior Road National Championships in Shepparton.
The selections come after both Lenny and George capped off spectacular seasons in the Victorian Junior Road Series.
Lenny claimed second overall in the under-17A category, having won both the Ararat Junior Tour and Broadford GP, claiming stage wins at each, while also finishing seventh and eighth overall at the Eildon Junior Tour and Alpe De Buffalo.

The elder Griffiths brother rounded out his season with a ninth place in the time trial and a 16th in the road race at the Victorian State Road Cycling Championships in Glenrowan across August 12 and 13, racing aggressively throughout the event.
George has enjoyed a similarly successful season in the under-15A category, showing consistency to finish seventh, fourth, sixth and fifth overall in each of the four stage races.
George finished fourth in the time trial and fifth in the road race at the Victorian Championships to cement fifth place overall in the series and finish the season strongly.
Max Trewhella was also in action in Glenrowan on Sunday, August 13, racing in the under-19 Victorian Road Series Ronde Van Taminick road race.

The 105km race saw eight riders reach the finishing straight together on the fifth and final lap, resulting in a bunch sprint, with Trewhella beaten out by only Oscar Gallagher (Blackburn CC) to finish second.
Lenny and George will be in action at the 2023 AusCycling Junior Road National Championships in Shepparton from September 21-24.

EMCC president Matt Dobeli has taken out the final race in the Ivan and Lorraine Collings points series, with Levi Hone claiming the overall title.
Racing at Koyuga, Dobeli set off in the second group, two minutes behind the limit bunch, and once at the front, held off the chasing packs to claim the win.
Darren McKemmish finished second after starting alongside Dobeli in the second group, while David Oman held on from the limit group to round out the podium.
Levi Hone recorded the fastest time to finish fourth from the scratch group, while Trent Stevenson finished fifth.
With the fourth place finish, Levi also claimed the overall series win, finishing on 27 points after four races.
McKemmish was the closest competitor with 21 points, while Michael Taylor’s haul of 18 points netted him third place.
Levi shares lead ahead of under-19 NRS finale
Fresh off his Victorian State Time Trial Championship victory, Levi Hone is set to defend his lead in the under-19 National Road Series at the Tour of Gippsland from August 25-27.
The Tour of Gippsland, which will be held at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, is the final round in the under-19 NRS calendar, with Hone the co-leader.
Netting 275 points at the Canberra Junior Tour, and 175 points at the Balmoral Tour, Hone’s consistent performances means he is tied with Balmoral Cycling Club’s Will Heath.
Hone and Heath have duelled for a title before, with the Balmoral product pipping Hone to the under-19 Oceania Championship title earlier this year.
The Tour of Gippsland will commence with a 42km criterium on Friday, before Saturday morning will see competitors tackle a 17.8km individual time trial.
There are also two 80.1km road race stages around the Grand Prix Circuit, with the course to be ridden anti-clockwise on Saturday afternoon before the final stage on Sunday, which will be ridden clockwise.
