Playing at Northern Oval in Kyabram, Moama won the toss and elected to bat, and turned the heat up on the Flames from the start.
Captain Joel Murphy and Fraser Buchanan worked in great harmony to put 100 on the board for the opening partnership, before Tom Owen struck to remove Buchanan on 33.
Murphy powered on with Michael Hill at the crease, both bringing up half centuries before the skipper departed for 80 at the hands of Jack Donnell (2-70).
Anthony McMahon (42) played another damaging innings until both he and Hill (54) were sent packing in a short space of time, although at 4-226, Moama was well in control.
Matt Saunders was also instrumental, ending on 41 not out, while cameos from Jordan McGregor (16) and Kirk Teasdale (14 not out) saw the visitors put a whopping 5-298 on the board for Kyabram to chase.
The daunting chase for the home side was made worse early on when Hill, who had already saluted a half-century for Moama, decided to put on a show with the ball.
Dismissing both openers, as well as claiming the scalps of Donnel and Flames captain Paul Newman for ducks, Hill single-handedly reduced Kyabram to 4-22, still 277 runs shy of the required total.
Robert Salter (22) and Jake Gascoyne (18) tried to weather the storm, but the home side was left reeling at 7-85 after the pair were dismissed.
Kyabram’s number 11 Charlie Barnett saved the blushes of his side slightly, contributing 40 before his wicket ended the innings in the 39th over, with his side bowled out for 163.
Hill’s 4-18 was the best figures by a Moama bowler, and was well supported by Rishabh Kothari (2-4 off three overs).
The huge 135-run win ensured Moama end round two in second spot on the ladder behind Echuca South, and will have to opportunity to take top spot next week when they face the winless Leitchville-Gunbower.
Kyabram remain without a victory after two games, and will face the much-improved Cooma away from home on Saturday.
