The Campaspe midweek pennant competition was moved to Wednesday this week to accommodate the public holiday, but the date change failed to throw players off their game.
Division one
Moama kept its unbeaten run intact with a convincing win over Echuca on Wednesday morning.
Marilyn Stephenson’s rink was the biggest winner in the round four clash, prevailing 21-8, while top-rated competition skip Rob Wastell kept his record clean with a 12-shot victory over Steve Cunnington.
The Ian Page-skipped Echuca rink pulled back a 19-all draw to ensure the club walked away with a point.

Mark Quor (24-11), Stephen O’Brien (21-11) and Conway Bovell (19-10) delivered full points for Deni and a second win of the season, though they remain in fifth.
At Mathoura Bowling Club, the home side ensured it stayed third with a 16-shot victory over Rich River.
Mathoura got all rinks up courtesy of a 10-shot win to Peter Pangrazio’s quartet, while Beryl Murray was a 23-19 victor against Barry Brown.
Rich River’s Liz Easther pushed Jason McCloy, but the latter came away with a two-shot win.
