The Riv took a drive around the twin towns on Thursday afternoon to find out what people are paying at the pump.

Echuca petrol stations:

Liberty Echuca — 176 Ogilvie Ave: Unleaded 189.9; Diesel 187.5

United Echuca Centre — 131 Ogilvie Ave: Unleaded 189.9; Diesel 187.5

Shell — Ogilvie Ave and Premier St: Unleaded 193.9; Diesel 191.9

Ampol Echuca North — 4 Northern Hwy: Unleaded 193.9; Diesel 187.5

United Echuca — 127-135 Northern Hwy: Unleaded 189.9; Diesel 187.5

BP 73/85 Murray Valley Hwy: Unleaded 193.9; Diesel 191.9

BP OPT Echuca, 10 Sturt St: Diesel 189.9.

Moama petrol stations

The prices from the Echuca-Moama region were correct as of January 18 at 4pm.

As a comparison, prices were cheaper in Shepparton and Kialla, but were varied. Here are some of the prices.

BP, Ampol and Shell Coles Express, all Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla, 176.9 for ulp.

Astron, Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla — 172.9.

Pearl Energy, Wyndham St in Shepparton — 167.5 (this will be the cheapest).

Liberty, Benalla Rd, Shepparton — 169.5

It is recommended to keep track of the fuel pricing cycles and use different websites to get the best value.
