In first division there were no real surprises with Misfits continuing on their merry way to overcome P*ssheads 8-3, Projectile Dysfunction had a comfortable win against The Shoeless 7-4, and finally, Falcon Hasbeens won their match with Double Trouble also 7-4.
Tonny Terrors had their first win in second division over the Pastoral Pirates, 6-5, and Passouts defeated Ocheholics, 6-5, as well. Pastoral Warriors had the bye.
Individual highlights
In general, performances were down on previous weeks with Shane Broucek throwing the only 180.
Michael Bajowski again topped the averages with 23.68, very closely followed by Darren Manners with 23.33.
Michael had the most tons with 12, Janine Cassar and Jodie Oakley were the best ladies with four each. Cody Johns had the shortest leg with 19 darts and Brett Hodges took out the high peg with 107.
In second division it was the ladies showing the way. Ebonie Gill threw six tons and Amon Sinnott had the highest peg with a massive 116 (T5, T17, bull).
Shortest leg went to Shane Valentine with 23 darts and the best average went to Warren Read with 16.32.
Digital scoring
The tablet holders have arrived for our Samsung A9+ tablets and will soon be distributed to all venues.
The tablets themselves will be given out to captains at a soon-to-be-held handover night which is yet to be arranged.
The handover will involve some basic training on the use and care of the tablets. DartConnect has kindly allowed us to use their system “free of charge” for the remainder of the season to give us time to become adept in using the system.
The protective sleeves are still to arrive.
