The midweek pennant division three bowls title went to Deniliquin RSL, which defeated its local rival Deniliquin in the final match 12-45 to 2-29.

The rink skipped by Neville Austin was decisive for RSL as he led his team of Ron Marchetti (lead), Jim Rhook (second) and Peter Todd (third) to a big 31-12 win.

Deniliquin clawed back some of that deficit in the other rink, with skip Alan Hardcastle posting a modest 17-14 success, but RSL ran away with the match.
Deniliquin was the defending champion of the division three midweek pennant but was unable to overcome a consistent RSL side that finished the home-and-away season on top of the ladder.
