Lockington Consolidated School held their own clean-up day on Friday, March 8, to support Clean Up Australia Day.

Years 5 and 6 students led the effort to clean up Lockington with Years 3 and 4 students creating posters to spread awareness and the Years 1 and 2 students tidying up the school yard.
The school’s administration assistant Deanne McNair was proud of how the students took to the initiative.
“Fantastic work everyone, your dedication to our community is truly inspiring,” she said.
