The Riv has been in contact with Geoscience Australia and nothing has officially been recorded in relation to any earthquakes.

People can head to https://earthquakes.ga.gov.au and find out the latest on any recorded earthquakes.

The latest reports will show up as red on the map of Australia.

If you click onto the event, the details will come up on the side. You can also report a ‘felt’ quake, so the event can be tracked across the region and just how far away the ground shook.
