Two girls were part of the Victorian State Team at the 2024 Australian National Gymnastics Championships on the Gold Coast in May.
Moama Anglican Grammar student Addison Coburn executed some impressive tumbling, logging a personal best and the second-highest score in level five for her preliminary pass.
Her performance earned her a place in the finals, where she scored fourth place against older athletes.
Addison trains at Palmers Gym Echuca Moama, while also engaging in regular sessions at Palmers Gym Bendigo.
Trainers feel she is an athlete on the rise in tumbling.
