Echuca Moama Community Projects and the Riv have joined forces to spread Christmas cheer to those spending the holiday alone.

Our community goal is to create 100 festive hampers for guests attending the Echuca Moama Uniting Church Christmas Day lunch.

Echuca Moama Community Projects and the Riv extend heartfelt thanks to all who have generously donated green bags and Christmas bonbons over the past week.

There is still time for you to help, with the Riv office accepting donations during office hours.

Here is how it works:

Step one: Each week, purchase this week’s items from an Echuca Moama business.

For the week beginning Monday, December 2, we're seeking donations of jam, Christmas puddings and tinned fruit.

It is not too late to help with last week’s items: a green bag, decorative or cooler, and Christmas bonbons.

Step two: During weekday office hours, drop the item into the box at the Riverine Herald office at 28 Percy St, Echuca.

Step three: Your item will be added to a hamper.

Join our community effort to bring Christmas joy to those in need — every contribution makes a difference this festive season.
