A club spokesperson said the Probus year began in April, so this was the club’s first get together in 2025.
“The club is very active with monthly meetings featuring interesting guest speakers and outings both locally and internationally, as well as trips to the theatre,” the spokesperson said.
“A Norfolk Island trip is coming up in November and a visit to the Bald Archys in Mansfield followed by lunch are just two examples of this year’s forthcoming activities.”
The Benalla Rose City Probus Club recently enjoyed lunch at the Farmer’s Arms.
What is Probus?
“Probus is fun and friendship in retirement,” the spokesperson said.
“Probus provides retirees with the opportunity to connect socially, which is so important in today’s world.”
Membership is open to anyone who is retired or semi-retired, and the Benalla Rose City Probus Club is open to welcoming new members.
