The Kangaroos travelled to Central Park Recreation Reserve to tango with the Eagles, who have lost just one game so far this season.
The disparity between the two sides was evident from the first quarter, with the hosts nailing seven goals in the first term, while limiting Girgarre to just one.
However, the Kangaroos did manage a humble fight-back (2.6) in the second period, but some missed opportunities in front of goal stopped the visitors from romping back into the contest.
Whatever momentum Girgarre created in the second quarter was snuffed out in the third, as it failed to score in the period, while Shepparton East pushed its lead out to 67 by the three-quarter-time siren.
The Kangaroos added just 1.2 to their tally down the stretch, while the Eagles went from strength to strength, nailing five goals to end their day with a 90-point victory.
The final score was Girgarre 4.9 (33) to Shepparton East 19.9 (123).

Billy Barnes (2) was the only Kangaroo to kick more than one goal in the contest and was joined by Tylah McClean, Griffin Bird, Joshua Mackrell, Jonah Cootes and Ryan Butler on Girgarre’s best on list.
The Kangaroos will return home and look to turn their season around when they face formidable Violet Town in round seven.
