City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali congratulated the appointees.
“We are fortunate to have such passionate community members step forward to help shape the future of the Shepparton Showgrounds,” he said.
“The committee plays an important role in ensuring this well-used facility continues to evolve in line with community expectations, and these appointments reflect the depth of experience and interest we have in our region.
“I would also like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the retiring members, Callum Phillips and Sue Trevaskis, for their valued contributions over recent years.”
Cr Kieron Eddy, who sits on the advisory committee as council’s representative, also welcomed the new members.
“The Shepparton Showgrounds is one of our city’s most important community assets, and it is encouraging to see such a high calibre of local people putting their hands up to be involved,” he said.
“I am looking forward to working alongside the new committee as we continue to improve and activate the site for the benefit of our whole community.”
