Emergency services are on the scene of a single vehicle crash on the Hume Fwy, southbound, about 1km south of the Benalla/Winton turnoff.
It appears a four-wheel drive vehicle has hit the wire-rope barriers on the central reservation.
The Hume Fwy is down to one lane.
Remember to slow to 40km/h when passing emergency vehicles.
