In a school holiday program for children looking to gain ball knowledge from Shepparton’s best, there was no better place to be than Shepparton Sports Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Youngsters got to meet and train with the elite basketball players of the area, as the Gators continue to thrive in their second season in the championship division of the Big V league.
Running drills and learning skills for all levels and ages, the holiday camp was a successful experience for all involved.
Whether it was letting it fly from three-point range like Stephen Curry, dishing out dimes like a prime Russell Westbrook, or winning competitions like the Oklahoma City Thunder, all participants improved their skill level under the guidance of last year’s semi-finalists.
News photographer Megan Fisher captured the budding prospects in action.
