Overnight on Friday, July 25, police said offenders gained access to a utility parked in a driveway in George St, Kilmore, and stole a large quantity of Milwaukee power tools from its rear, as well as the victim’s wallet, with a total value of $10,000 stolen.
Overnight on Friday, July 25, a vehicle parked in Church St, Kilmore was accessed by offenders who smashed the utility’s canopy window and reached in to remove and steal various Milwaukee power tools, all at a value of $2500.
Overnight on Tuesday, July 29, offenders stole the front and rear number plates from a vehicle parked in George St, Kilmore.
Graffiti
Between Sunday, July 27 at 11am and Monday, July 28 at 1.30pm, an offender went to the male public toilet in High St, Broadford, and sprayed yellow tags on the toilet seat, toilet paper and door, with total damage done valued at $550, police said.
Burglary
Police said on Sunday, July 27, between 4.20am and 4.30am, offenders broke into a business in Station St, Seymour by removing a roof panel, and stole jewellery items and a Santa statue, valued at $550, before triggering the alarm and leaving through the back door.
Shop theft
On Monday, July 28 at 6.50pm, an offender, described as a 20- to 30-year-old Caucasian of slim build wearing a cream New York hat, a black puffer jacket and black jeans, entered BWS in Seymour, selected a one litre bottle of Jim Bean valued at $74 and left the store without making any attempt to pay, police said.
Police urge anyone with information on the above incidents to contact their local police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police also remind members of the public to secure their vehicles and avoid leaving valuables in sight.
