Over a few inspiring days, some Year 3 to 6 students from Mathoura took part in engaging dance and drumming workshops, culminating in a vibrant performance at the Deniliquin Town Hall.
Staff and community members were thoroughly impressed by the quality and creativity showcased on stage by Mathoura students, alongside other local schools.

The opportunity to take part in PULSE Deniliquin allowed students to shine and foster a deeper connection with the arts within the community.
Mathoura Public School teacher Emma Streader thanked those from the amazing PULSE program from the NSW Arts Unit, which provided high-quality performing arts workshops and events for all NSW public school students.
‘’We feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of such a fantastic event,’’ she said.
‘’Some of our kindergarten to Year 2 students were also involved, participating in two days of workshops where they embraced every moment with enthusiasm, creativity and joy.

This year’s PULSE Deniliquin event was all about celebrating creativity and providing exceptional performing arts opportunities for students and teachers from NSW public schools.
Spanning three jam-packed workshop days at various venues across Deniliquin, the event ended with two incredible performances at Deniliquin Town Hall.
