Although a contest was certainly afoot, Moama showed its quality to take home the 15-and-under premiership over Cobram on Murray League grand final day.

From 15-all, Moama burst out to 18-15 and 21-16 leads.
Cobram managed to prevent things getting out of hand in the remainder of the third period, but still trailed by four at the final change.

Moama all but killed the game off with a clinical four-goal run coming out of the break, and Cobram found itself helpless to respond as the Mowers soared home 31-26.

“That’s what finals is all about,” Carter said.
“They probably haven’t felt that pressure as much, so the privilege of pressure sometimes is awesome, and they stepped up when they needed to.”

Star centre Addison Power took home the best-on-court medal, Carter hailing her as one of the league’s best.
“I’ve always said she’s one of the best junior netballers in this region,” she said.
“At one stage today, she hadn’t even caught the ball, and she was directing someone to the post and threw it, and it was the best pass I’ve ever seen.
“She’s exceptional; she can just see space that other people can’t see.”
