This year, the organiser, Numurkah Singers Theatre, is hoping to drop pins at more places on their printed maps for buyers, who are bound to find bargains on their journeys.
“If you’re a seller, this is your chance to turn your unwanted items into cash while being part of a great community event that brings hundreds of bargain-hunters into Numurkah,” Numurkah Singers Theatre treasurer Jane Willis said.
“If you’re a buyer, it’s a treasure hunt like no other, with dozens of sales all over town, maps for just $2, and plenty of food and drink on hand to keep you going.”
Registrations for the October 4 event ($10) are open until Thursday, October 2.
Numurkah Singers Theatre is inviting volunteers to help cook the barbecue and sell maps, food and drinks.
Maps including all registered locations will be available for $2 each from the theatre group’s shed at 52 Quinn St, along with sausages and drinks.
The event starts at 8am and finishes at 1pm.
